Concert Cabinet Works

Hello. I simply wanted to say how awesome the fuzzspace is. I’m a bassist and can say it’s more ballsy and effective than many of the bass pedals I’ve tried. I’m super happy and it’s totally the sound I’ve been looking for.

The FuzzSpace™ Guitar and Bass Germanium Fuzz Pedal

Handmade Germanium Fuzz: the FuzzSpace™ guitar and bass pedal is a first class Fuzz Face style stomp box with unique modifications. This is a fully discrete PNP Germanium transistor negative ground design without a charge pump. I am aware of no other available PNP Germanium transistor pedal, unless it is battery only, that can make this claim. Charge pumps can be problematic and I have found they are not needed with proper design and implementation. You can use a standard power supply along with the rest of your pedals without worry or pedalboard problems. The FuzzSpace™ is quiet and stable, extremely touch sensitive with monster tone and the controls work together seemlessly. An almost infinite variety of great tones are quickly and easily dialed in – also cleans up beautifully when you roll back the guitar’s volume control.
The IMP control is useful for matching different impedance pickups. Keep this control lower (counterclockwise) for more touch sensitivity. Possibly turn up for higher impedance pick-ups or if using a wah-wah or other effect pedal before the FuzzSpace™. Also useful if you find that perfect tone albeit a tad unruly – just turn it up a bit. The BIAS control helps dial in under different ambient temperature conditions. I like to set according to picking attack or for maximum brightness but many tone variations are possible. The VOL and FUZZ controls are self-explanatory.
Only non-Russian (no flying saucers) NOS PNP Germanium transistors properly tested, measured and sorted with the classic best ranges for Q1 and Q2 are used. Every pedal is tested to make sure it is not noisy, for correct operation and for musicality. The FuzzSpace™ can be adjusted from clean to distortion all the while sounding musical. If you love sustain, this is the stomp box for you. I have found this to be a fun and useful pedal – it actually enhances your playing experience.
CNC engraved and machined diecast aluminum 1590BB enclosure. Custom designed optimized CNC milled and drilled PCB. The BIAS and IMP controls utilize TT Electronics 100,00 turn pots. E-Switch 3PDT 30,000 cycle stomp switch. VOL and FUZZ controls use Alpha pots. Neutrik jacks and actual thin film resistors in the signal path. Nichicon input and fuzz capacitors, Kemet polyester film output capacitor and also an Illinois 100µF filtering capacitor for the power supply. P-channel Mosfet polarity protection – far superior to a diode. Grounded input true bypass design eliminates switch pop.
Designed and built to last exclusively by Concert Cabinet Works in the USA – a true boutique pedal at a mass produced price. This pedal is the real deal. If you are looking for a germanium pedal (and by all means you should be) this one will not disappoint. Comes with battery.
